This is the recommended web browser for 68000 based Macintosh systems (and better) with System 7.x and at least 4 MB or RAM. If you have a 68030 based Mac, such as the Macintosh SE/30 or Classic II, I recommend using the Netscape 2.x or 3.x web browser instead.
Easiest way to add Internet access (and/or a Hard Drive) to a Macintosh right now seems to be by getting a BlueSCSI device with the Raspberry Pi Pico-W module, which adds Wi-Fi support using a DaynaPort SCSI/Link emulation and works on any Macintosh starting from Macintosh Plus. The rather excellent BlueSCSI documentation has instructions on how to add Internet support to your Mac once you have received the BlueSCSI device.

- Under Port, type in 7851 (or whatever is Protoweb’s current server Port as per our Proxy Server list)
- Consult the server list for more server choices.
- Hit OK to close out of the Network Preferences window.
- You may begin using the service by navigating to http://welcome.inode.com
- If everything is working, you will be able to access the iNode homepage. For the light-weight version of the homepage, type in http://lite.inode.com/ as the URL.
