I am the founder of Protoweb, and would like to thank you for considering our service to be worthy of your donation. Every volunteer contributor including myself work very hard to build a quality service for everyone to use for free. It is manual work, and restoring just one website to the standard it deserves can take up to several weeks. However, we love and cherish what we do, and we hope you enjoy Protoweb as much as we enjoy building it.
This project is a labor of love. However we need donations from people like you so we can afford our operating costs, and development of new services, all of which we have been historically paid from our own pockets. As the service grows, so do our upkeep costs, and it becomes harder to continue to self-fund the platform. So, if you like our project and the direction we are heading, please consider donating and helping lift some of our financial burden. Even a small donation goes a long way.
