You are currently viewing tdl.com – The Diamond Lane

The Diamond Lane was a smaller ISP based in Hayward, CA, a city located on the eastern side of the San Fransisco Bay Area. While it was far from the largest in the region — the Bay Area was a highly competitive market for ISPs, and I’ve managed to find at least twenty local ISPs all vying for dominance in the area during the nineties — it did do well enough for itself that it not only lived on as a service provider into the mid naughts, but continues to survive today as a webhosting company. Its customer base during the period it has been restored to seems to have been primarily located in Hayward and some of the surrounding cities in the eastern parts of the region.
Included in the website are 47 fully restored homepages that were hosted on the tdl.com domain in the nineties.
