Tingo was a service that provided ISPs with custom-branded internet software users could use on their desktops, such as web browsing, email, IM, bookmarks, etc. What made the service unique was the fact if generated revenue through service integration and reduced churn as opposed to the heavy advertisement and popup ads the early 2000s was plagued with. Tingo has been inactive since 2005.
